42nd Post

Right now, I am reading Baseball Between the Numbers, which has a lot of stuff from Baseball Prospectus and such. Right now, it is talking about clutch hitting. Right now, I am looking at a graph comparing the clutch ratings of odd seasons bersus even seasons.

The graph has a 33% coorelation, or R-value. The R-squared valueis thus about .10, meaning skill can explain 10% of clutch hitting performance. That is AP Statistics stuff right there. Word.

And, yes, I am still up at 6:11 AM.
